Jero Nougues is one of those producers that has just exploded onto the scene, having already in his short career worked with labels like Savoir Faire Musique, DeepClass Records, Limitation Music, Deep Site Recordings, Moonrise Records, Dubhe Recordings and Dutch Music to name just a few. Having made a name for himself, not only as a top notch producer but a man of creativity and warmth, you can look at this release as a tease to his upcoming album on DeepWit scheduled for later this year.

Jero’s Original “No Going Back” is a moody deep tune for those looking for a more sophisticated late night tune to carry you away in a clouded haze. On Remix duty we start off with Audio Units from India, who’s remix adds in a bit of classic sounds combined together with a fresh tech electronica feel. The level of depth in this superb remix means that you’ll hear something new on every listen. Up next we have Ivan Garci’s stripped back and tech infused remix, which keeps the integrity of the original while adding in Ivan’s signature melodic sound. The last remix comes from Venntaur, who is quickly becoming a common name here on DeepWit. He offers up the most floor oriented track off the single, with house tinged and lush grooves woven together with intricate and lovely melodies, showcasing the moody melody from the original as a centrepiece.

This single is focused on those darker, later, night grooves that we only remember because of the repercussions. If you are wanting Deep House for adults, in all our complexity, this is the release for you.
